Hello there, thank you for visiting Silk Moon Ceremonies. I’m a newly qualified Civil Celebrant, which means I can help you plan and create the perfect ceremony for your special day.
I currently have excellent availability and I can offer competitive prices.
My story
People often ask me why I chose to become a celebrant. Well, my youngest son and his fiancé were researching getting married and they wanted to do things in a non-traditional way.
They decided they wanted a simple ceremony with friends and family. They loved the idea of using a Celebrant, and my son said “you’d be good at this, mum, how do you fancy being our celebrant and marrying us?”.
Well of course I loved the idea!
Straight away I looked at what training I needed, I found a course that suited me and started my training.
I’ve loved every minute of my training and I’m excited to get started in conducting ceremonies for special occasions!
Why use a Celebrant?
Not everyone wants a Church or Registry Office ceremony. Even an elaborate wedding venue is not for everyone.
By engaging a Celebrant, you can do things your own way, by having your unique ceremony at home, in your garden, at a lakeside, or even in the woods.
You will only be limited by your imagination.
